Followups
The heat is fixed! There was some valve or sensor or something that was allowing water into the system, forcing it to shut off. We have heat again. Yay!
I showed up for jury duty as scheduled this morning. Less than an hour and a half later, they told us we were all dismissed; the case had settled. Yay! (I was even able to be productive for some of the wait time, due to the free wireless connection.)
Scratchy throat. Hoping it's not yet another cold. Bah!
