Gaming squee

There's going to be a Professor Layton-Phoenix Wright crossover for the 3DS!  Watch the subbed trailer here.  (At the moment, alas, it's only scheduled for release in Japan.. Wonder if 5th-Cell and/or Capcom have a place to sign a petition to bring it to the US?)

Spiders

I'm not much of a one for spiders, as many of you know.  (As a brief aside, this impression was reinforced this weekend by learning of the existence of the earth tiger tarantula, which lives in chunks of Asia and - according to the presenter at the conference - grows to up to a foot in diameter, can and does prey on small birds, and has a nastily toxic bite.)  Turns out Frank Chimiero didn't much enjoy his recent experience with a spider much either, but it makes for screamingly funny writing.
