orichalcum, I'm guessing the 'took forever' puzzle that you referred to earlier is something to do with statue manipulation?

Ahaha.  I wondered what one was supposed to do with the random statues with holes in them scattered around Hyrule!

Big statue with Axe Of Doom is nearly down at the entrance hall. Haven't figured out how to grab the obviously-grabbable ceiling tile in the room with the giant balance yet...

Ah. Now that the Dominion Rod is working full time... yes, there *are* a lot of statues. And getting to the platforms on which they sit is sometimes an.. interesting proposition. (I've moved three; one of them is on a platform that's too dratted tall to get onto easily.)
