No, I don't need a new computer.  My now-somewhat-old iMac is still working fine, and it can still access OS 9 (useful if I ever intend to finish Xenogears -- really, I will, sometime!).  I don't even need a new toy - the DS fills that slot quite happily, and will for some time.

But oh, isn't the Macbook Air pretty???

So - does this outdo the iPhone?  My guess is no, but it's still pretty nice-looking.  Comments welcome.

So pretty! I have a little voice in my brain that's trying (unsuccessfully) to justify it on the basis of exercise: I'd walk to work every day if my computer were that little!

Oh. Wow.

Tiny computer as a spur for exercise.

.. Okay! :) Hey, if it works, go for it!

Oh yes, yes it is beautiful. I suppose this means another drooly window-shopping expedition to the Apple store for me. Why must their stuff always look so good?

That said, I'm less excited by actual Mac ownership than I expected to be. (I am an adoring Ipod owner, though.) Safari hates me, and OSX is less wonderful than I hoped.

Mozilla kicks Safari ass. And I say that as a devoted Mac user. (also, a pretty techno-allergic one, so don't cite me to geeky folk or anything)

dang it. so many choices! asus eee (2 pds, openos, $400) vs cloudmaker (2 pds, windows applications, $400 or thereabouts) vs my beloved Mac folks (3 pds, MAC MAC MAC, $1700).

drat.

Firefox won't run properly on my iMac. No idea why, but it crashes the entire OS pretty regularly when I try to use it. Thusly even Safari is preferable to the Mac version of Firefox.
