Hmmm... sick?
I've been really tired for a fair amount of the past week. This morning, despite an unusually sound night's sleep, it took till about noon for me to feel fully awake (the alarm went off at 8:15 - yes, I know I have a cushy job). My throat is feeling post-nasal-drip-irritated, and my nose was unhappy-itchy earlier, though it mostly isn't now.
Am I getting sick? Heaven knows there's been an abundance of sicky-germs around in all my haunts (work, chorus, etc) the past few weeks. I've told my body quite firmly that it isn't allowed to get sick till Sunday afternoon: we're doing Michael Haydn's Missa Brevis de St Joannis in the service Sunday morning, and as I'm one of three sopranos, I really am needed. It's okay if it wants to get sick next week, even though it's concert week for Symphonic Chorus: I'm one of about a bazillion sopranos, and one soprano more or less in Carmina Burana isn't going to make much of a difference.
On the other hand, the fatigue could just be my ankle. It's definitely getting better (the ankle brace helps huge amounts), but even so, it's at a low level of pain (like, a 2 on a 10-point scale) a large fraction of the time. As I know both from personal experience and from friends, pain is fatiguing.
On the other other hand, the ankle presumably wouldn't have any effect on my throat. (I try not to put my foot in my mouth terribly often, and these days I'm not flexible enough to literally do so anyway!).

Boy what a boring post. Have a nice weekend, everyone!
