Exploratorium = good
Mar. 15th, 2009 12:55 pmHad a lovely time yesterday with some friends at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. Yesterday being 3/14, they celebrated Pi Day. We were part of the Pi Parade, in which digits of pi are distributed in order and folks march around the museum with them, concluding with a celebratory eating of pi(e). As several small children were involved in digit-holding as well, we had a good demonstration of floating point math going on at the same time. :) (They don't seem to have a link up for the webcast they did, but I'll put it up when I find it.) We didn't see everything - if you spend real time looking at and thinking about any of the exhibit bits, you probably won't have time for everything!
Having had fun all day yesterday means, of course, that now I hafta go do all the useful things that normally get done on the weekends today. Off to vaccuuming!
