Just watched.  *sigh*  Very amazing.  Crime against humanity that that was the LAST ONE.

Anyone around here own the graphic novels, and can we borrow them?

We don't, but the library does; yours might as well.

As I think I mentioned before, I personally recommend against watching Serenity, at least if your favorite characters weren't Mal and River. But YMMV, and I hope if you do watch it that you enjoy it more than we did!

Yeah. Opinions vary widely on Serenity-- many people think it's great. Personally, I think it was dreadful and damaged my affection for Firefly badly. But there's no guarantee you will agree.

We'll go ahead and watch it. If it's ruinously bad, we'll simply pretend that it didn't exist. :)

River is cool enough that I don't mind seeing more of a focus on her. At any rate, we'll probably watch it, though likely not instantly.
