The year in LJ
Dec. 30th, 2009 08:14 pmJan 5: I just opened an email from my department.
Feb 6: We live within easy walking distance of a Whole Foods grocery, and (until recently, for reasons completely unconnected to this post) have done most of our grocery shopping there.
Mar 5: I satisfied a minor itch Sunday night by purchasing the soundtrack to Coraline.
Apr 2: I wish I weren't awake.
May 3: Yesterday was quite productive.
Jun 1: We're back from our vacation!
Jul 8: Haven't posted in much too long; my apologies!
Aug 4: Huz just finished recording J.M. Barrie's charming little book Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens.
Sep 2: I am pleased to report the completion of my latest solo project, Two Poe Tales (title mine - it's two stories that were always intended to be published as a pair).
Oct 1: My in-laws have said they want to take me out to a nice restaurant for my birthday this weekend.
Nov 6: My apologies for the late notice...The choirs of Christ Church Portola Valley Woodside and Saint Bede's will be presenting the Rutter Requiem in the context of a requiem service tonight, November 6, at Christ Church.
Dec 1: Things are definitely looking better now - the hospital is getting ready to release her to a rehabilitation facility.
So... 1 work-related entry, 2 reviews, 2 Librivox things, 1 specific music thing, 3 general updates, and a scattering of other things. You know, when you look at it this way, it seems like a pretty decent year. (Also, my family and my cats tend not to be going through crises at the beginnings of months?)
