Sean is doing nifty things, but not acting like he "deserves" to be well-known and celebrated for doing nifty things. You are too, working on Librivox, choir and skating, stuff like that. Plus you're a gamer with a job yourself, and that I can relate to. I _like_ being a gamer who also does all this grown-up turning-into-my-parents stuff as well.

I think that's the difference. We help people and make contributions. We don't have to be the stars of the production.

It turns out life is really fun when you're happy to have a role and not obsessed with getting top billing. :)

Mind you, I'm aiming to eventually do my turn at some leadership roles... but I'm not giving up my knitting and gardening, either.
