amethyst73I was goofing around on Apple's Quicktime page last night, looking (for a change) at the Entertainment section rather than the Movie Trailers section.
Don't get me wrong - we'd already gone through the trailer section. Enjoyed the 9-minute preview of Ratatouille.
Discovered that National Geographic has a free podcast of video shorts, which sounds like a fun thing to subscribe to. Recognized the Pistol Shrimp thatorewashinanai posted.
BUT - in the 'Listeners also subscribed to..' box (or whatever it's called), I found a couple of things that make me very happy:
1. Best Of YouTube. Pretty much what it sounds like - it's a feed from bestofyoutube.com. Randomly downloaded a couple, and found the following. I don't drink lattes, nor coffee even, but I found the video below pretty darn cool:
2. Car Talk now has an iTunes podcast!!!! Yippee skippee!!!
And, back at YouTube itself, I discovered that there are several shorts and full episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which I think I saw once and once only, but thought was hilarious.
