Whoa. Still sick.
Last night was Not Fun. I'd been feeling vaguely queasy around dinnertime, but generally ignored it 'cuz the soup was really tasty. Around 4-4:30, though, I had dry heaves, which are one small step away from one of the very most unpleasant sensations of the world (at least as far as I'm concerned). When they had passed, I felt a lot better and ate some crackers and drank some ginger ale, took some Advil and tummy medicine, and went back to bed.
This morning when the alarm went off, I was tired but feeling a lot better, my legs were sweaty, and my temperature was waaaay back down where it was supposed to be for first thing in the AM. After breakfast I promptly went back to bed, and lay semiconscious for around 3 hours. When I got up at 12:45 this afternoon, my temp had crept back up to 100.1. Hoping that it was mostly a function of being under plenty of covers in a pretty warm house, I ate lunch and waited a while to retake it. Sadly, no fluke was this: I'm back up to 101. Forced liquids regimen is now in place. (*sigh*) (And really, I'm not that interested in solid food. It's not that my stomach is queasy, it's just that liquids feel so much nicer.)
I wonder if the show title "Save Me! Lollipop" would sound half as bizarre if I weren't running a moderate fever?
Anyone have ideas for non-HuluPlus shows that would be particularly amusing?

On the happy side, I've started SWEATING! So maybe this is the end of the fever part.

I hope you're almost through it. The last time I felt that bad it was appendicitis, but that had one more very specific symptom!
