Our yard looks... respectable! *gasp*

We just spent a lovely evening with our friends S+DG from church.  They started off doing some work around our house for us (they're both less employed than they'd really like, and we have more yard work around than we're able/interested in doing ourselves... as a result, we've got an arrangement with them!).  The front yard now looks positively kempt!  And the giant gate that used to be attached to the house and, at one point it its life, closed off the driveway from the front, is finally gone!!!  That's a project we've been meaning to get something done about for literally years.  I cooked tasty pasta with pancetta and corn, and we had a great evening eating and hanging out.  Good deal, this.  :)
