It's been a week for seeing people, some of whom we don't get to see very often.
Monday night we had dinner with some of Huz's former co-workers, including the fellow who was the head of the company, who we see only rarely because he lives in Australia. Peter sees his other former co-workers a few times a year; I don't, because they generally go for lunch, so it was nice to see them too.
Tuesday night we were at home.
Wednesday night I went to dinner with E, who I hadn't seen in ages. We had a great time and are looking forward to the church choir starting up again.
Then later Wednesday night we ended up going over to Peter's parents' house and spending the night there. Peter's mom had to leave the house early in the morning and wanted us to just be at the house till the caregiver for his dad got there. We got into work about an hour early Thursday morning, and were able to leave work a little early as a result, which was nice.
Thursday evening we spent at home.
Then we just got back tonight (Friday) from a second dinner out with Peter's former boss, which was a lot of fun. We traded books to read and shows to watch, and had a great time.
But with all this hanging out - I'm ready for the weekend! ;)

ETA: Is anyone else having a hard time trying to get paragraph breaks to work properly in LJ? (I've been copying over text from G+ into a text editor, turning it into plain text, and copying it over, and I consistently have to play with the carriage returns, often several times, before it ends up looking right.)
