In the Sky Temple!

amethyst73Tuesday this past week (after finishing costume): Finished finding all the Sky Characters! 3 easy statues, 3 slightly more difficult statues. But once you get the trick of the difficult ones, it's essentially the same trick for all 3. I think I happened to get lucky in the ordering that I did them: the one in the amphitheater, the two holes in the cliff, then finally the one in the desert. Made the intuitive leap of how to get the chest in the desert very quickly. Happy!
Thursday: Got cannon, made initial exploration of Sky Island. Got to the first big nexus room, and got the walkway out to the locked door.
Last night: Mucho progress, though I'm not done with the first really long-ish arm that I started. Got key to locked door, am puzzled by the grabbable - and fall-able - cylinders hanging from the roof of the lower level in that area, and am peeved at the dragon and hope there's another way of getting there. Went through locked door. Took path to the left shortly after that (from the room with the cross-blowing fans, one of which has an off-switch; there's also a path straight ahead from that room). Will have to go through annoying many-jumps room again. Got as far as a tall, circular, floorless room, in which about the most I accomplished was to pull a switch and open a grating over an exit door, after which I had no option but to fall an infinite distance and lose a heart.
Want: Map. Compass. And a longer or spiffier clawshot, cuz there's a pink pullable thing waaaaaaaaaay up in the ceiling at the first nexus room, which I'm guessing will turn on the Big Fan and thereby open the way to the tower where the dragon hangs out. Oh, and it'd be nice if Ooccoo worked in a standard fashion here, but she doesn't. Piffle.
