So, no China update today.  Apologies to all, but I've been a bit busy.  I am working on it, and hope to have it up this weekend sometime.  But when you're doing things like socializing a cat and reading papers in preparation for a job interview, things like serious journal entries fall a little on the list of priorities.  :)
