Ah yes, I've seen this before. It was made by April Winchell, the woman who runs Regretsy - or used to, as it seems Regretsy was sadly shut down earlier this year. She used to sell T-shirts and/or bags with this image on it, I don't know if she still does. And yes, she is a huge sci-fi geek. She's also a voice actor who's been in big feature films.
