Well, I did make it through the first half of choir rehearsal.  (Mostly.)  And I did have the intelligence to realize that trying to sing further would be just plain stupid because I was already in the process of losing my voice, and didn't care to repeat Sunday's episode.

Hrmph.  Wanna be all better.

Yes, you can read about Sunday here (http://amethyst73.livejournal.com/60091.html). Basically, I sang too much, or wrong, or something and had almost completely lost my voice by the end of the service.

And my throat is *still* scratchy and dry and wanting to cough. This Sunday's anthem is with the kids, and is pretty straightforward - an arrangement of "How can I keep from singing?". The sopranos sing the Sop 2 note whenever there is one, and there's a section of humming up high which Matthew has changed to Ah's. Unless I'm totally better tomorrow, which seems kind of unlikely, I am currently planning to skip Sunday. Stuff is easy, and I really don't want to lose my voice again!
