Dec. 7th, 2008 12:09 pm1/2/08: (title: Life is what happens...) Cat still coughing.
2/1/08 (the first of three entries; title: When did these become words?) On the Bart coming back from the city a couple of weeks ago: "off-board" the train, as in, to get off
3/2/08 (title: Book recommendations) One of the ways I entertained myself during the Cold That Would Not Die was by reading.
4/1/08 (title: Oh, how I wish they were joking) Someone decided that it would be a good idea to make a Zelda movie.
5/4/08 (title: New game in the house!) We has Okami!
6/2/08 (title: Eeek!) She wants me to start working on the "Doll Song" from Tales of Hoffman!
7/7/08 (title: Photo embedding test) Can everyone see the following thumbnail of one of my nephews, which should lead you to a bigger photo when you click on it?
8/1/08 (title: New genome!) Today I got libraries assigned that have "Aquilegia" as the species designation.
9/2/08 (title: Codons and creationists) I just used Google to look up 'eukaryotic codon table,' since I couldn't remember off the top of my head exactly what the three stop codons were.
10/1/08 (title: Librivox recs) We recently finished listening to Mark Nelson's recording of Tom Swift and the Visitor from Planet X
.
11/4/08 (title: Yes we did!) Obama has won the election.
So it looks like mostly I worked, I read, and I played games. I find it curious that none of my stressed-out posts happened to be the first ones of the month. You'd never know from these entries about my folks' medical problems or our trip to China. Or that I've been commuting a lot recently. So, while interesting, this particular exercise was not entirely accurate in portraying what life is *really* like.
