Have caught the huz's cold.  It's a slow-moving thing - he's been sickish since Sunday night and still isn't over it.  I caught it Tuesday night.  Presently it's uncomfy and 'yeah, I'm not healthy' but no worse than that.  But it's still annoying.

Hope we're both over it come Monday.  Spending 13 hours in transit on a plane with a cold sounds less than pleasant.

Meanwhile, a heads-up: On Monday, the huz and I are going to China for 2 weeks!  We'll be back Sunday July 6, arriving before we depart due to fun games with the international date line.  We expect to be mostly incommunicado during that time; neither of us has a cell phone that will work there, and we're not bringing a laptop.  We will bring the DS with Internet browser in the hopes of finding a wireless network we can use.  Opera for DS is a slow and clunky thing; if I'm able to post at all, it will probably be along the lines of "We're here, we're tired, it's really cool," and I won't be keeping up with reading my friends list.  If there's something I really need to know, it's probably best to email me instead.  I'll post the flights and our hotels later tonight.

Yuck. get over that cold quick. I spent most of the weekend dealing with one and even stayed home on Monday. It's being medium-grade sinus pressure at the moment.

Have a wonderful time in China! What's the deal with your trip? (business, group tour, random "hey, let's go to China!")

Tour, more or less. The Stanford music department is picking up and going to China to give concerts. Some of the groups are already there (http://sso.stanford.edu/tour08/tour08.htm) and have given a couple of concerts already. We'll be spending a week each in Shanghai and Beijing, singing in five concerts, rehearsing, and of course touring around. We'll get to eat dinner up on top of a segment of the Great Wall, among other stuff. :)

That's quite the itinerary. Should be pretty exciting to get to perform in those venues on top of all the sightseeing. Have a wonderful time!

Ack, I forgot to give you the info you needed. I'll be in Michigan from June 25 - 30, back on July 1, for backup cat care.

Do you want to borrow my Phoenix Wright? I don't mind you deleting my files. I can start over.

Thanks for the info. Umm... I think I'll probably have enough Phoenix Wright to hold me over; I haven't done any work on it in two weeks, and I think I've probably got well over half an episode still. After we get back, maybe. :)
